Take the Gripsticks Timecode Clapper Sticks and locate the Grub Screw Inserts toward you
STEP 3
Insert the Slate into the sticks with the back of the slate facing you
STEP 4
Tighten all the Grub Screws with a 1.5mm Hex Key, so that they are finger tight against the slate. Alternatively, you can still use tape to secure the slate into the sticks.
STEP 5
Take the Timebar and place it inside the Timebar Holder
STEP 6
Line up the lid of the Timebar Holder, so that it fits over the Slate window. Then rotate the Holder until it is in the upright position against the sticks. Adjust the Timebar as necessary to sure it fits into the window.
STEP 7
Tighten the M4 Screws into the Sticks securely using a 3mm Hex Key. The Timecode Slate is now ready to use.
STEP 8
If you wish to fit the optional Handle: (purchased separately)
1. Place the Timecode Slate face down on a flat surface. 2. Place the bottom of the handle into the Timebar Holder catch groove underneath the Timebar 3. The handle should only go in one way, and the top of the handle sticks out. 4. Push the top of the handle firmly so that screws can be tightened into the screw threads of the Timebar Holder.
STEP 9
Tighten the M4 Screws into the Sticks securely using a 3mm Hex Key. the handle is now ready to use.
Final Stage: Timebar Set-up
Once your Digital TIMEBAR Timecode Slate is assembled, it only takes a few steps to set it up.
Download and open the latest Setup App software foriOSorAndroidon your phone
Switch on the TIMEBAR and add it as a new device to your Setup App device list
In the App press the SYNC button and tap on the TIMEBAR in the list
SetTimebar Mode>Slate Mode
PressStart Calibration, a dialogue window will open and guide you through it
Set the associatedtimecode,user bitsandtext hold timeto your desired length. If set to 0 seconds, this information won't be displayed
If you want to add a custom text (up to 8 characters), just tap on the text field and the keyboard will pop up to edit a text, pressEnterto confirm text
Note:
When the TIMEBAR is set toTimecodeorSlate Mode, it remembers the mode even after it is turned off. So when you turn it on the next day, it is still inSlateorTimecode Mode.
